A FEAST OF SHEFFIELD FOLK

I billed it as a Festival of Sheffield Folk but it truly was a Feast of Sheffield Folk.

I also referred to it as More Mobile Music for Malcolm, because the group of excellent Sheffield folk performers, put together by our good friend Dave Young, donated all the proceeds to the same charities - mainly MacMillan Nurses - that benefited from our Mobile Music for Malcolm event last October, in memory of Sheffield Folk stalwart Malcolm Douglas. The total was £193.00 but to this we should add the £180.00 from the previous Folk Train outing, which was generously donated by the Folk and Bluegrass Music Soc, making a grand total of £373.00. Well done everyone!

We started outside but it was nowhere near as warm as it was the previous month so the performers retreated to the bar after the break.
