Our good friends Scuppered  did us proud again.

We had a bit of an adventure on the return journey. The train came to a screeching halt just after emerging from Totley tunnel. The conductor informed us that the signal ahead had changed from green to red as we approached - unlike road traffic lights, not a thing that's supposed to happen.

Visions of recent instances during the heavy snow of passengers being marooned on trains for hours but as it turned out, we were moving again after 30 minutes and meanwhile Scuppered did a wonderful job bringing out the Dunkirk spirit. The problem was caused by a power failure in the Sheffield rail area, turning every signal automatically to red as a safety measure.
