Mike Wild being unavailable, our last visit to the Old Nag’s Head featured Jim McDonald and Dave Wood.
Dave was a finalist in BBC2’s Young Folk Musician of the Year competition. We were also treated to some Irish instrumental music when Dave was joined by his girl friend Laura on the fiddle.

We said farewell to the Old Nag’s Head with the SRFN All-Stars, a comprehensive selection from amongst the SRFN’s members.

Our return to The Rambler featured an al fresco Sheffield City Morris.

We went al fresco again for a much depleted Abbey Prowlers, several of the band being lumbered with professional duties.

I was in sunny Spain so pictures were provided by the month's performer, Bernard Cromarty.

Bernard had given us a preview in January when he did a spot during the Fiddle Society's performance.

Travelling on the train for the first time, Travelling Folk is a group of regulars from folk clubs around South Yorkshire,
fronted by Lou Marriott, who runs the Booit Straps Folk Club at The Commercial in Chapeltown.
